NATIONAL CADET CORPS 

In recent years N.C.C. training has been made voluntary, but the College aims at recruiting the maximum number of students so that they can reap the benefits of this nationally useful program. With a view to contribute the service to nation, society and impart Army training to youth in future. G.S. College of Commerce and Economics has started National Cadet Corps (NCC). College has one unit of NCC under the overall supervision of 1 MP Battalion Jabalpur. The present permitted strength is 54 cadets. Today the College hosts a combined company of N.C.C. cadets comprising of 43 boys and 11 girls.

General ACTIVITIES

• Every year cadets get a chance to attend important camps like PRDC, RDC, NIC,CATC.
• Ranks are given to 8 cadets each year on the basis of their performance.
• College students have participated in trekking, Mountaineering, water rafting, sailing activities.
• NCC Cadet. Imran Rangrej of our college has given Best Cadet awarded. He won the Chief Ministers Award and cash prize of 25000/- and he also won the Governor Award in 2015.
• Five Cadets of our college has participated in National Shooting Camp in 2016.
• Senior Under Officer Prakash Burman represented MP in the Republic Day Parade held at New Delhi.
• Tree plantation is organized to create environmental awareness
• Blood donation camps are organized to create social awareness
• Our cadets have participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
• Our cadets have participated in Traffic control during Puja.
• On 26 January our cadets participate in the Republic Day Parade organized in Wright Town stadium
• Our cadets have give Guard of Honor to various Army Officers
